About Mt. Carmel Jewelry Design

Our goal:

We strive to create unique, attractive and affordable pieces of jewelry, but our ambition actually goes beyond that. We want to delight you, the customer, with every aspect of your interaction with us. It starts with how we craft the Jewelry, continues with the purchasing experience and spans into areas such as delivery, packaging and customer service.

The Jewelry

All our Jewelry is original and entierly handmade in our very own studio using top quality materials.
- By original, we mean that all designs are made by Naama Elharrar. You can read more about Naama below.
- By entirely handmade, we mean that all parts are designed and crafted by Naama. Unlike many sellers out there, we don’t stitch together readymade parts of jewelry and call them our own. For instance, we don’t purchase a pendant, connect it to a chain and sell it as our originally designed necklace while doubling the price. This may seem like a small difference to some, but if you’re one of those who likes to know a jewel was designed and crafted especially for you, then our jewelry is for you. In addition, this process allows us to ensure the quality of the jewelry parts, which brings us to the next point.
- By top quality materials, we mean that we take special care in choosing the materials. For instance, the gold plating we use is thick, long lasting and its quality significantly exceeds the typical market standards.

The people

Naama Elharrar is the owner and the Jewelry designer for Mount Carmel Jewelry Design. Here are few words by Naama:

“Hello there. My name is Naama and I live in the city of Haifa, situated on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea, in northern Israel. The city itself resides on biblical mount Carmel, which is the name of our studio of course . Jewelry design is both a profession and a passion for me, altough it took me sometime to find my way to it, having spent my early career in the domain of graphic design. Beside designing and crafting jewelry, I also teach jewelry design in my studio”.

“All my work is made by hand, and I take special care in choosing high quality materials, typically noble metals and gems. My inspiration comes from the daily life around me. It could be a leaf I found on the sidewalk, a stone I noticed on the seashore, or following a word my daughter had told me. In the end it all makes for a unique piece of jewelry, crafted just for you”.
